Warranty Policy
Warranties come from each product's manufacturer, and PMD will help you file the claim. Coverage, length and terms vary by brand and are set by the manufacturer, not PMD.
How to file a claim
- Contact PMD with your order number, the part number, your vehicle (year, make, model) and a description of the problem.
- Include clear photos or video of the issue and, for installed parts, the installer's name and invoice where available.
- We send the claim to the manufacturer and relay their decision and next steps. Some manufacturers require you to work with them directly; if so, we give you their contact details.
- If a return is approved, use only the authorization number and address provided.
The manufacturer decides whether to repair, replace or credit the product.
What warranties generally do not cover
- Labor for removal or reinstallation, towing, rental vehicles or other consequential costs
- Damage from improper installation, misuse, accidents, racing or competition, or neglect
- Normal wear, finish changes from weather, road debris, chemicals or improper cleaning
- Products that have been modified, repaired or refinished
- Shipping costs to and from the manufacturer, unless the manufacturer covers them

Shipping damage and incorrect items
These are not warranty claims. Report them under our Shipping and Returns & Exchanges policies.
Your vehicle's warranty
Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a vehicle manufacturer or dealer generally cannot void your whole vehicle warranty just because aftermarket parts are installed. They may deny coverage for damage caused by an aftermarket part or its installation.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable law.
