The ADRO carbon fiber rear spoiler V2 is made from our handcrafted carbon fiber to ensure it is as strong and lightweight as possible. It aids in performance by reducing drag to enhance the efficiency of the Tesla Model Y’s electric powertrain. The spoiler is incredibly easy to install and fits as if it came from the factory, with no weird panel gaps or uneven surfaces, thanks to our proprietary 3D scanning process that ensures a perfect fit. The Tesla Model Y carbon fiber spoiler is what the Model Y has been missing all along.
Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), our team of aerodynamicists tested the efficiency gains of a Tesla Model Y fitted with ADRO’s full body kit compared to a factory car. Our CFD analyses showed a 2.7% reduction in total vehicle drag and a downforce increase of 727 N, resulting from the installation of all four ADRO parts - front lip, side skirt, rear diffuser, and spoiler. This means that ADRO’s Full Body Kit made the Model Y even more aerodynamically efficient, which will ultimately result in a positive effect on overall range and performance.
