The ACT ZM15-HDSD is a Heavy Duty Performance Street Rigid Clutch Kit for the 2019–2026 Mazda MX-5 Miata with the 2.0L engine. ACT rates it at 312 ft-lbs of torque at the crank, 46% more than the stock clutch. ACT recommends it for street and race use.
ACT's own diaphragm design adds clamp load, limits deflection and helps the clutch last longer. Each diaphragm spring goes through ACT's four-stage heat-treat process. Precision-stamped covers keep the pressure plate stiff and consistent. The street disc uses premium organic friction material with high copper content to move heat, on a steel backing for burst strength. Its heat-treated chromoly hub adds strength and durability. The solid-hub street disc brings race-style shift speed while staying manageable on the street.
Torque capacity is measured at the engine crank.
ACT also lists this part for these non-US models: Euro: 2019–2024 Mazda MX-5. These are not included in the vehicle filters.
Must be used with OE dual-mass flywheel or ACT flywheel (not included). Pressure plate bolts included (M8-1.25 x 20mm).
