Authorized Kinetic Dealer · Built in the USA
One seat.One craftsman.Start to finish.
Kinetic doesn't run an assembly line. Every APEX shell is hand-laid and hand-finished in the USA by craftsmen who have been building performance seats for decades. You are not buying a stamped-out bucket with a sticker on it. You are buying the seat they built for you.

02 / Why Kinetic
The Part You Can't Photograph
Decades, Not A Launch
In Kinetic's own words: they have been designing and building high-performance seats for decades, and Kinetic is simply the name on the future of that work. The geometry in these shells was validated in competition long before it was ever printed in a catalog.
Spine First, Bolsters Second
The S-curve backrest follows the actual shape of your spine, so lumbar support is built into the shell rather than bolted on as a cushion. That is why you can run a full day in one and walk away.
Built One At A Time
No assembly line. No batch of a thousand shells stamped out overseas. Each seat is laid up and finished by a craftsman, start to finish, in the USA — and backed by a two-year manufacturer warranty.
03 / Make It Yours
Genuine Alcantara Pad Kits
Seat and back pads in one kit for the APEX XL. Tool-free swap in minutes — $325 each.
Swatches are indicative only — see product photography for true color. Pad kits fit the APEX XL shell. Shell sold separately.
04 / Mount It Right
Sliders, Mounts & Brackets
A seat is only as good as what holds it. Play in the rails reads as vagueness in the car.

Ask About Fitment05 / Questions
Before You Buy
Which shell should I buy?
If the car is a dedicated track or competition car and you want maximum support, start with the APEX XL — especially if standard buckets have never fit you well. If you want the proven classic geometry in a lighter 17 lb shell with trim choices, that's the APEX ORIGIN. If the car is driven on the street and you need to recline, keep your back seats and live with the seat every day, the APEX GTR is the only one of the three that makes sense.
Are these compatible with Recaro hardware?
The slider kits are. Kinetic documents the 0.70.9, 0.70.9NT, 0.76.3 and 0.76.3NT sliders as fitting both Kinetic and Recaro aftermarket seats. Seat shells themselves still need the correct side mounts and a vehicle-specific bracket for your chassis — ask us and we'll confirm the combination.
What's the difference between "tab" and "no tab" sliders?
Tabbed sliders have integrated mounting tabs that give you three different seat heights — useful for helmet clearance or getting a tall driver low. No-tab (flat) sliders are the lowest possible stack height and are designed to work with a bracket or floor pan that already sets your height, including Planted Technology brackets. Tabbed sliders are not compatible with Planted brackets.
How long does delivery take?
Most Kinetic seats are built to order. Typical build and delivery is 2–3 weeks from the factory. Hardware and pad kits generally move faster. We'll give you a real ETA on your specific SKU before you order rather than after.
Is the APEX GTR sold as a pair?
No — left hand and right hand are separate SKUs at $1,895 each. Order both if you want a matched pair.
Is this covered by warranty?
Yes. PMD Driven is an authorized Kinetic dealer, so every seat carries the full manufacturer warranty — two years, the longest in the aftermarket seat industry — and we register it for you after purchase.
