ADRO is a U.S.-based aftermarket brand specializing in dry-carbon-fiber aerodynamic components for European performance cars (BMW, Audi, Porsche) and a growing range of Japanese performance platforms (GR86, BRZ, GR Corolla, Supra). Every part is designed in-house, test-fit on a real vehicle, then manufactured using pre-preg carbon and autoclave curing for race-grade fitment and weight savings.

Wet-lay carbon is built by applying liquid resin to dry carbon weave by hand and pressing into a mold — cheap to produce, but resin pooling causes inconsistent thickness and weight. Pre-preg dry carbon uses carbon fabric pre-impregnated with the exact resin amount the engineer specifies, then cures under heat and pressure in an autoclave. The result is a part with consistent thickness, no resin pools, and a much higher strength-to-weight ratio. ADRO uses pre-preg exclusively.

ADRO parts are chassis-specific. The product title lists the exact chassis code (G80, F80, F87, G87, 992, 991, 8V, 8Y, B9, ZN8, A90, etc.) — chassis codes don't cross-fit between generations. Every ADRO part has a UV-stable two-stage clear coat designed to resist yellowing. Daily-driven cars in high-UV climates may show subtle yellowing after 4-6 years; garaged cars stay closer to factory new for far longer. Annual ceramic coating or PPF top-up extends the clear-coat life significantly. If a part does yellow over time, it can be sanded and re-cleared by any quality body shop.

Yes. The clear coat scuff-sands well and any quality automotive base/clear paint adheres. Some customers paint the visible-carbon parts in body color, matte clear, or satin finish for a custom look. Use a body shop with carbon experience for the cleanest result — proper prep prevents the weave from telegraphing through the paint.

Mounting varies by part. Front lips and side skirts typically use 3M VHB double-sided tape plus retaining bolts at OEM mounting points. Rear diffusers and trunk spoilers use OEM hardware locations. Mirror caps and trim are usually clip-on or 3M-tape only. Detailed install instructions and required hardware ship with every part. Installation time ranges from 30 minutes for trim pieces to 4 hours for a full body kit. Professional install recommended for first-time owners or paint-matched parts.

There are unauthorized copies on the market that look similar but use cheaper materials and won't pass fitment checks — buying through PMD Driven guarantees the real thing with full warranty.

ADRO covers each part with a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects (resin voids, weave delamination, clear-coat failure not from impact).
